This cutter features interlocking stainless steel scalloped blades that cut 1" x 1" squares of cored lettuce without squashing, bruising or browning. These blades are durable and non-corrosive for long lasting service.

The pusher block and the blade assembly can be removed without tools for easy cleaning and sanitizing.

Can the Nemco N55650 Easy Lettuce Kutter (Cutter) cut Cabbage?

It is not recommended to use the Lettuce Kutter for cabbage. Instead, you should check out one of the Nemco 55200 series vegetable slicers.

Great lettuce chopper, cuts lettuce in exact little 1in squares (if you 1/2 the head 1st and lay flat on the chopper. The pusher is very aggrevating to clean.

        

I used this at my friend's restaurant and this made salad bar duty so much easier. The prep took no time at all and made nice cuts.

Does what it is suppose to do. Good unit for the money. Not sure of what replacement blades cost, but hopefully as affordable as the chopper.
